Following up on the fruitful discussion among participants during Mark Friedman’s visit and Results-Based Accountability™ training, a Steering Committee has formed to further efforts to create shared results and common performance measures across human services. This includes state and private funders, the legislature, and the nonprofit sector that carries out much of the work. The Agency for Human Services, Common Good Vermont, Benchmarks for a Better Vermont, the Vermont Community Foundation, Lamoille Family Center, and the A.D. Henderson Foundation have signed on to move this forward.
The Steering Committee will actively build on the work these organizations are already doing and develop shared training opportunities, resources, and a learning collaborative aimed at building a performance culture, including using Results Based Accountability for planning and budgeting.
